Quantitative Section
In this subsection of the exam you are being given 75 minutes as well in order to answer 37 questions that are being asked in a multiple-choice format. As for the scoring, you are also rated on a scale ranging from zero to 60.
This subsection deals with two major elements. First, you problem-solving abilities are tested. Second, the test tries to evaluated your capability for quantitative reasoning.
In the first category you are mainly being tested for your mathematical fitness. These questions focus on elements such as algebra and geometric knowledge amongst others. You're being provided with five possible answers and your job is to find the correct one. You can expect to see both simple calculations as well as problems from real-life applications.
In the second category, the goal is to see whether you are able to logically conclude an answer from two statements you are being provided with. Your job is to evaluate whether none, one, the other, both or either statement is enough to answer the question.
It may sound harder than it actually is. But don't believe it to be easy. Once you read through the statements, you are amassing nuggets of knowledge that shall go into the answer. In order to excel at this subsection, it is absolutely necessary to concentrate and focus as the so-called devil is in the details and every single element of the sentence may render your solution valid or false. Summarising, this is a very demanding type of question as it focuses on mathematical aspects and a slight mistake can cost you many points from your score.
